This work forms part of an ongoing street installation first pasted up in Portsmouth and Southsea in April 2026. Encountered without instruction, the work operates within existing public and visual systems It adopts the language of marketing, where objects are used to replace the need for language.
SAY IT WITH OBJECTS
Objects communicate with a clarity language cannot sustain.
They remove hesitation.
They eliminate misinterpretation.
They do not use words.
They replace ambiguity with form.
A diamond confirms devotion.
Flowers resolve apology.
A bottle of wine marks presence.
Meaning is transferred efficiently, without the instability of speech.
The system is widely understood.
It requires no translation.
Objects do not express feeling.
They organise it.
Selection becomes declaration.
Arrangement becomes narrative.
In this framework, communication is no longer negotiated.
It is delivered.
The individual is relieved of articulation.
The object assumes responsibility.
