This work forms part of an ongoing study exploring how the visual language of religious devotion can be re-applied to contemporary consumer objects. The composition is based on heraldic church panels seen in the Black Church in Brașov, Romania, where angels frame a central emblem accompanied by ribbon inscriptions naming donors.

In this version the angels have been replaced with kneeling mannequins, while the heraldic centre contains a domestic appliance: a Russell Hobbs kettle. The ribbon text reads Russell Hobbs Kettle, Factum in Sina (Made in China), echoing the format of historical inscriptions while introducing the banal language of branding and global manufacturing.

The work considers how ordinary household objects can occupy a symbolic position similar to religious relics. Developed digitally to become a series of painted wooden panels accompanied by subtle sound elements inspired by the polished tone of contemporary retail advertising.
